Whilst researching and brainstorming potential design directions and conceptual development for the branding of lifestyle and wedding photographer, Lulu Peddar, known as 'Lulu & the Lens', of course, her portfolio of work was a hugely important element to research to gain inspiration from and understand her personality through her work. Already being a friend and fan of her work was, of course, a huge benefit, and the soft focus and beauty in her photographs has provided a really distinct style of femininity and grace that I'm sure will be hugely fun to work with in both print and digital design outcomes- potentially exploring various pastel colour palettes, high-end print finishes such as letterpress, foil blocking and book binding, which I'm truly anticipating exploring further.
