Design Practice III//Negotiated Briefs//Jessie Leong & Chanel Advertisements.

Continuing with my research of the Chanel brand (as I look more into potential developments and insiration for my branding for student photographer, Jessie Leong), I decided to look at magazine advertisements, and, how, much like Jessie's own portfoio, strong, independent women are so often portayed, much like the company's own founder, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel.
Although often quite natural looking, much like Jessie's own models, they each style a natural "rose" beauty with high- cheekbones accompanied by a strong, confident, and admired look, which the strong uppercase serif type of the branding works perfectly well with- simple, but bold and strong.

Really enjoying the idea of working with something like the existing type branding of Chanel for Jessie's own brand identity, definitely will be talking with her in more depth over the next couple of weeks as I write the brief in full.
